In
1989, to mark the opening of the Bagan Tandoori Restaurant,
Mr Ashuk Miah rode an elephant through the streets of Caerleon
while business partner Mr Sazzadur Rahman kept a watchful eye
on the accompanying Roman soldiers and maidens.
On 28th August
2001 - exactly 12 years later to the day - the Bagan celebrated
its twelfth anniversary.
